Welcome to the Wake Heart and Vascular Associates Lipid and Anticoagulation Clinic! For over 7 years, Wake Heart and Vascular Associates has offered the services of a clinical pharmacist specially trained in the areas of lipids and anticoagulation (blood thinning). Since we are all pharmacists, our expertise is in medication management, allowing us to provide you with information regarding dosing, administration, side effects and drug interactions. We maintain close contact with your cardiologist on any medication adjustments and recommendations. Along with medication management, we also provide information on heart-healthy eating habits, smoking cessation and exercise therapy.
